Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1969 Chevrolet CAMARO recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

We're excited to offer this beautifully finished, true X66 coded, first generation Camaro for your consideration! Truly an iconic American car, finished with care in an awesome color combination, this is an eye catching collectible car to consider for your garage. Our client purchased this car in 2005, and the restoration process began shortly after it was in his possession. The restoration included fully stripping the body by hand sanding it, to avoid any warping of metal which is often a problem when media blasting parts. A look at the car as it currently sits shows the care that was taken during the restoration. This car is gorgeous inside and out with impressive fit and finish. Finished in black vinyl (code 711), the interior of the car is extremely clean. Fit and finish of the interior is very nice, and is sure to evoke feelings of nostalgia. Bucket seats, factory tach, gauge package, console, wood grain trim, and the pairing of the iconic white shift knob and wood grain 3 spoke steering wheel are highlights of the interior. Hugger Orange hugs the curves of this first generation Camaro, with black stripes on the front fenders, and a black vinyl top providing some contrast. The car left the Norwood Factory in early 1969 finished in Hugger Orange (Code 72). A slow walk around the exterior of this car gives you time to take in all the details. Fit and finish is spot on. The chrome and trim are in beautiful condition - this car really shows very well. From the front end that wears a lower front lip and egg crate grille, to the rear spoiler, this car is pleasing to the eyes! Cragar S/S wheels with BF Goodrich white letter tires finish off the look of this true SS first generation Camaro. Under the hood is an extremely clean, 396 V8 engine bored .40 over, mated to a 4-speed Muncie Transmission. A few goodies have been added to the engine such as Doug's Headers, MSD Ignition, hydraulic clutch, and scalloped and polished valve covers. The underside of the car is very clean with solid floors and sills framing a Magnaflow exhaust, new fuel tank, and front and rear disc brakes. This awesome, true X66 SS Camaro is the car for you if you're looking for a classic Camaro that is in impeccable condition to add to your collection.
