So we subjected it to over 10 million miles of cumulative torture-testing in labs, at proving grounds, over high-altitude passes and through desert valleys, while hauling huge loads and towing heavy trailers at temperature extremes from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Raptor offers a two-speed automatic AWD with mechanical locking 4WD. The FX4 Off-Road Package is optional on F-150 4x4s and includes electronic-locking rear differential, Hill Descent Control™, off-road tuned shock absorbers, plus skid plates.
