Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1976 Triumph TR6 recalls can be found in this database. The 1976 Triumph TR-6 Roadster featured here is finished in the stunning, factory color combination of Java Green over a black interior with a matching black folding convertible top. According to the accompanying copy of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate this particular example was completed in January 1976 and was subsequently sold new by British Leyland Motors Inc. in New Orleans, Louisiana. Today the Triumph presents wonderfully with the numbers matching 2.5 litre inline-6 cylinder engine still in place. A mere 42,815 miles are present on the odometer; a number which is indeed believed to reflect the total mileage accrued from new. An excellent assortment of documentation accompanies the TR-6 including the owner's manual, previous registration information and accompanying service records. In January 2020 a service was performed by a British Motorcar specialist who installed a new master cylinder and more.
