Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1954 Ford F-100 recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1954 Ford F100 Pickup for purchase. 1954 was the second year of the 2nd generation of Ford F-series trucks and it was the first year using the designations that still last today (F100, F250, etc). More options also became available including the first offering of an automatic transmission. Ford was changing trucks from strictly used as farm equipment to something you wouldn't actually mind driving for more than 100 yards at a time. Today in the classic world these trucks are gaining popularity for their timeless style and many end up as restomods where modern technology added allows you to cruise today's streets in style. This truck is a great start to an easy project. The body is straight and solid. It is powered by a 460 big block v8 paired with a floor shift C6 automatic transmission. The truck rides on new tires mounted on Cragar wheels. Other highlights include Sunpro gauges, bucket seats, tilt steering column, Edelbrock carburetor and chrome valve covers, aluminum radiator, MSD coil and distributor. The truck runs well and just needs a few minor finishing touches to be an awesome restomod.
